We are looking for a Business Controller!
For our financial department we're looking for a skilled Business Controller. In this role, you're responsible for setting up financial analyses and reports, managing the planning & control cycle and assess financial risks and opportunities. You conduct various controlling activities, including the reporting on actuals, forecasts and budgets. Through your financial expertise, you support the financial goals of our company. You actively exchange information with peers and stakeholders within our Sales, Marketing & Supply Chain teams and you participate in projects. You monitor the financial details of our sales activities and translate your knowledge to usable suggestions and advice. You are responsible for the legal result of Bel NL. You verify general ledger transaction and ensure correct recording in the system(s) and reports and ensure all documentation (incl. balance sheet records) are in place at month closures. You ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls and maintain and improve the accounting policies and manuals. You ensure that international fiscal and legal requirements are met. The job can be divided in; 60% business controlling, 30% financial controlling and 10% project controlling. In this role, you're supported by our Assistant Controller and you report directly to Business Controller Benelux. The Business Controller will be part of the local mid-management community).
In order to fit our demands, you have a bachelor degree in Business Economics or equivalent, additional financial qualifications are a plus. You gained a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position, and you own a strong track record of professional accomplishments. Logically, you bare strong financial and analytical insights and have good sense for business economics. Your strong interpersonal skills support you in effectively connecting to colleagues and stakeholders, as well as translating complex financial data to comprehendible information. You're known for your flexibility, your stable personality and self-starting mentality. You're able to go into depth with regards to financial details, at the same time able to keep overview on core processes and activities. Knowledge of SAP and Excel are crucial, and your cooperative nature will support your success in this position.
